WHY KNF?

Many lakes, rivers, pools, & water parks are opening up soon in MN & surrounding states, thus making it a very dangerous time of the year.  Heartbreakingly, drownings are the #1cause of deaths in children up to 6 years old. KNF is dedicated to teach these life-saving swim skills to as many people as possible, specifically targeting kids starting @                6 months old, though it’s never too late for adults to learn. We believe in teaching people to swim as early, quickly, & correctly as possible, while having fun of course, resulting in smart swimmers who can save themselves!                                                 

Our KNF Accelerated Swim Development™ Program was established in 1996 & has evolved into the top-notch       program it is today!  We use innovative, unique, methods that focus on excellent technique to produce accelerated, competent, & smart swimmers. Our goal is to get kids safely swimming on their own in deep water by 6 yro, though kids often achieve it earlier!  This process requires commitment to condensed sessions as well as the completion of homework  to help with learning these important skills.Kicks N Flips Swim School was started in 1996 and has been growing and evolving ever since. 

 

30 years ago, we started with about 30 students enrolled that first summer, and now, 70,000 swimmers have swam through our program I love teaching people to swim, and I especially love seeing families come back year after year...and even bring their kids to swim many years later!  We want people to be able to save themselves ASAP!  Over the years, we have developed many tried and true methods of teaching that are specific to Kicks N Flips Swim School. You won't see them anywhere else, and they WORK!  We are proud to offer a unique & accelerated learn-to-swim program that focuses on results!  We concentrate on safety, technique, and endurance in a smaller, fun environment where swimmers are engaged the entire time.
